the pickled parson has a cozy vibe, located just across from the church. the room was clean and the bed comfortable, and i appreciated the breakfast, even though there was a slight wait. the atmosphere was nice for a short stay with friends.

We had a spacious double room that was super clean with good tea & coffee makers. The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were super friendly! It was also close to some nice bars and restaurants, which was a plus. But we found the beer selection kinda lacking this time, which was a bummer.

It was just a great match for a rapid stop in Sedgefield with high value for money. The complimentary earplugs were a lifesaver due to the noise from the bar below. Be aware of potential noise if your room is near the pub area.

While cleanliness was apparent in the rooms, the hallway leading to them felt lackluster and dim, giving the impression of neglect.
